Sunday Rewind

Today was kicking at Journey.  We celebrated baptism today and I always love it when people go public with their faith.

• I love the portable baptistry thing... I stay dry! 
• We borrowed it from Cornerstone Methodist Church.  This Methodist church dunks more people than a lot of baptist churches I know! 
• Baptism Videos are some of the greatest things we do
• We had a ton of guests today. 
• Not sure what happened but I was burning up on stage today.  I sweat like a fat T.D. Jakes!
• Growth Group on Sunday night makes for a long day, but it's worth it.  We heard some really amazing stories tonight about what God is continuing to do in people's lives!
• Got staff meeting in the morning and it's time for us to make some hard decisions.
• I am taking off at 2 tomorrow because I haven't taken a day off in 2 weeks.  I'm going to cut my grass!
• I'm pumped that we're getting some systems and leadership in place.
• Still got a lot of work to do.
• Need some more leaders.
• I need to raise my level of leadership myself.
• One of the police officers who directed traffic for our gas buydown showed up today.  His wife and kids had been visiting for a month or so.  I think he had a great time.  It would be cool to have a cop in our services.
• I love my job... actually... it doesn't even feel like a job... it's a passion... It's great to get paid to live out my passion!
• I've got to get up early and can't wait to get into the Word.
• This next week... I am planning to laugh more.  That's my goal.
• I am looking to redesign my blog this week... any suggestions?
